Section 35 - COD Full Participant Updates New Processes and Reports 2004 - 2005 COD File Import Process (RERIM05) Under Full Participant COD, this process imports Pell and Direct Loan response files received in XML format from COD. Note: For additional information on this process regarding the Batch Integration Framework, please refer to the Batch Integration Framework For COD - Functional Section immediately following this section. This new process assumes that all users are COD Full Participants for the 2004 - 2005 aid year when importing COD Full Participant response and system-generated records, regardless of whether the COD Full Participant indicators on ROAINST are checked. Changes to this process from 2003 - 2004 include: Document Block Updates in the response to the Common Record Block is now loaded to RERCODD_DOCUMENT_TYPE and displayed on the REICODD form for all imported records. Note: Regarding Receipt Files Received: If the message class sent by the school is CRAA05IN, CRPG05IN, or CRDL05IN, then the receipt will be returned in message class CRRC05OP. While there are other message classes available for Receipt files, those message classes are not listed here as they are sent in response to Common Record message classes not supported and extracted by the REREX05 process at this time. Identifier Block Updates When updating the response to a Student identifier change record, the Aid Year code is disregarded and instead the process looks for the record in Sent status with a Document ID (RERSTID_DOCUMENT_ID) = the Document ID being imported. This is only true when the RERSTID_IDENTIFIER_TYPE = S(tudent). When importing Parent identifier records responses, the process looks for the Sent status with a Document ID (RERSTID_DOCUMENT_ID) = the Document ID being imported for the 2004 - 2005 aid year as Parent identifier records are aid year specific.
