Section 20 2004 - 2005 CSS PROFILE Updates - Functional SCT Banner Modifications SCT Banner Modifications New 2004 - 2005 CSS-Related Forms CSS data is maintained or displayed on specific SCT Banner forms which, like the processes, must be created or modified each year due to CSS record layout changes and annual new-year maintenance. New forms created with this release include: • 2004 - 2005 Need Analysis Processing Form (RNAPR05) • 2004 - 2005 Need Analysis Supplemental Form (RNASU05) New 2004 - 2005 CSS-Related Data Load Processes (Parts 1 and 3) CSS sends PROFILE financial aid application data to its member institutions in an electronic file, which is then loaded into SCT Banner via the data load process. Data load Processes Part 1 (RCBCT05) and Part 3 (RCRTP05) were created to accept and load CSS data for the 2004 - 2005 aid year. You now have the option with these processes to load Citizenship on the Person record for new records. SCT Banner Support for 2004 - 2005 CSS PROFILE Record Layout CSS made minimal changes to the 2004 - 2005 record layout. Modifications include adding two new fields, repositioning several fields (because of these new fields), and modifying the valid values for the Visa Classification and Tax Form Type fields. These changes are reflected in this release of SCT Banner. Note: The total PROFILE record length remains at 2750. New Forms 2004 - 2005 Need Analysis Processing Form (RNAPR05) This form, which displays and processes applicant FM and IM data for a specified aid year and lets you view data and process data changes for both calculations side-byside, has been updated and modified for the 2004 - 2005 year. Section 20 2004 - 2005 CSS PROFILE Updates - Functional New Forms The following form windows were renamed: • 2002 Income and Benefits to 2003 Income and Benefits. • 2002 Expenses to 2003 Expenses. • Student’s Expected 2003 Resources to Student’s Expected 2004 - 2005 Resources. • Parents’ Expected 2003 Resources to Parents’ Expected 2004 Resources. The following windows were renamed on the Options menu: • Income and Benefits to 2003 Income and Benefits. • 2002 Expenses to 2003 Expenses. • Student's Expected 2003 - 2004 Resources to Student's Expected 2004 - 2005 Resources. • Parents’ Expected 2003 - 2004 Resources to Parents’ Expected 2004 Resources. Note: The link for the Need Analysis form on the Options menu is inactive. It will be activated with the SCT Banner Financial Aid January 2004 Release. The 2003 Income and Benefits Window The following fields were added to this window: Fields . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
