New Forms<br />

2004 - 2005 Student Loan Data System (RNASL05)<br />

This form, which enables you to display and maintain NSLDS data, was modified<br />

and updated for the new aid year.<br />

Changes include:<br />

• Renaming the Consolidation fields to Unalloc Consolidation. This was done<br />

for consistency and clarification.<br />

• Modifying the Subsidized Outstanding Principal Balance and the Unallocated<br />

Consolidation Loan Amount fields. Starting with 2004 - 2005, these fields will<br />

contain only the unallocated portion of the consolidated loan, which is the<br />

amount remaining when all known subsidized and unsubsidized loans have<br />

been subtracted. This unallocated portion may be interest and fees, but NSLDS<br />

cannot guarantee that it is not another loan and therefore it is considered<br />

unallocated.<br />

• Modifying the DL Master Prom Note field’s valid values. The U = Unavailable<br />

value has been deleted. Complete valid values now include:<br />

Inactive<br />

C<br />

Closed<br />

N<br />

No MPN on file<br />

Blank No data from NSLDS.<br />

• Modifying the DL PLUS MPN field’s valid values. The U = Unavailable value<br />

has been deleted. Complete valid values now include:<br />
