Client Impact: The user can only view rerim05.log from the host, rather than
through the GJIREVO form.|
Resolution: Updates were made to rerim05.com so that the log file will print to the
database and be viewable on the GJIREVO form.

Description: The COD import process was examining every record in the Direct
Loan logging table when updating the status of Direct Loan change log records.
Client Impact: Examining every record in the table caused significant performance
degradation, resulting in unnecessarily lengthy job runs.
Resolution: The SQL has been modified to use available database indexes.

Description: The second job submission parameter (XML Import Document
Filename) was incorrectly defined as 'Multiple', when in fact the program was
written to only process a single file per run.
Client Impact: When multiple files were specified, only the first one listed was
loaded to Banner. There was no warning in the log file that the remaining file(s)
were not loaded.
Resolution: The job submission parameter has been redefined as 'Single'.

Description: There were hardcoded checks in the process for an aid year code of
'0405.'
Client Impact: Clients using other designations for the 2004-2005 aid year were
unable to process XML documents from COD.
Resolution: The process has been modified to use whatever aid year code is provided
in Parameter 01 to fetch the aid year end year from the database. The aid year end
year will then be tested for '2005.'

Description: The rb_award_disbursement API (rpkb_awd_disb_r1 rules package
script) contains edits on some number fields that prevent a value of zero from being
inserted or updated when zero should be allowed. This may cause errors in
RERIM05 when importing Pell disbursement responses that contain a disbursement
amount that has been corrected or rejected and set to zero by COD.
Client Impact: Clients may be unable to load Full Participant Pell Disbursement
responses, since the FP processing for 0304 and 0405 Pell is dependent on the
rb_award_disbursement API once Financial Aid release 6.4 is installed.
Resolution: The rb_award_disbursement API rules package script
rpkb_awd_disb_r1.sql has been modified to allow zero in disbursement amount
acknowledgement column RPRAWRD_DISB_ACPT_AMT.

Description: VMS-only: The 6.4 version of rerim05.com incorrectly specifies the url
as jdbc:oracle:thin:@ when it should specify it as jdbc:oracle:oci:@.
SCT Workaround: Update rerim05.com and change the url specification from
jdbc:oracle:thin:@ to jdbc:oracle:oci:@.
Client Impact: VMS-only: The RERIM05 process would fail.
Resolution: Updated the url specification in rerim05.com to: jdbc:oracle:oci:@.
