Section 35 - COD Full Participant Updates Note: There are two new valid values for data request records for the 2004 - 2005 aid year. The new values are V for the verification status list and P for the Pell POP Report. These types are not returned in a flat file format and cannot be imported into Banner. Instead these are pre-formatted reports. Banner does not support extracting these two new types of data requests presently as you can request these reports on the COD Web site just as you would all other pre-formatted report types. Output File Updates This process will not create an Origination Extract or Disbursement Extract file. The rows for these filenames have been removed from the File Names section on the Output report. Origination and Disbursement Extract files are now created by REREX05. Data Request Extract Updates - PGRQ05IN The extract filename was updated to pgrq05in_jobsubnumber.dat for 2004 - 2005 Data Request Extracts. Batch numbers generated for Data Request extract files for the 2004 - 2005 Aid Year populate the CCYY portion of the batch number with 2005. Both the batch header and batch trailer records contain the batch number, starting in position 15 and ending in position 40. The format for the batch number is: XXCCYY999999CCYYMMDDHHMMSS where: XX = batch type code CCYY = last year in cycle (2005 for Aid Year 2004 - 2005) 999999 = reporting Pell ID CCYYMMDD = date batch created HHMMSS = time batch created The data request record remains in flat-file format for COD Full Participants; the file batch number is visible on the RPIBATCH form. 2004 - 2005 Pell Print Process (RERPR05) The following parameters were renamed to the following: • Parameter 03 is now Origination Document ID • Parameter 05 is now Disbursement Document ID Output has been updated to report by Document ID rather than Batch Number.
