This package calculates the following need amounts:
• Budget Amount
• Resource Amount
• Replace EFC Amount
• Reduce Need Amount
• EFC Indicator
• EFC Amount
• Gross Need
• Excess EFC Amount
• Unmet Need
• IM EFC Amt
• IM Gross Need
• IM Excess EFC Amt
• IM Unmet Need
• Offer Amt
• Pell Award
Note: Except for Offer Amt and Pell Award, all calculations from the new
package yield the same results as calculated through the UCNRTN copy
library prior to this release.
This package consists of the following functions:
1. f_calc_pell_budget_amt. This function calculates the Pell budget amount.
Its input parameters are:
• p_pidm
• p_aidy_code
The return value is p_pell_budget.
2. f_calc_non_pell_budget_amt. This function calculates the non-Pell budget
amount.. Its input parameters are:
