2004 - 2005 Pell File Import Process (RERFI05)
RERFI05 was updated to import all file types that are still received as flat files by
COD Full Participant schools for 2004 - 2005 as well as to remove Phase-In
processing logic.
Files still received in flat-file format by COD Full Participant Schools include:
• PGRA05OP - #R - Pell Data Request Response
• PGAS05OP - #A - Pell Electronic Statement of Account (ESOA)
• PGMR05OP - #M - Pell Multiple Reporting Record (MRR)
• PGRC05OP - #C - Pell Reconciliation Report
• PGYR05OP - #Y - Pell Year-to-Date Record
These are the only file types that will be supported by RERFI05 for the 2004 - 2005
aid year other than ISIR Correction Error files (CORE05OP).
Data Request Acknowledgements - PGRA045OP
Field 54 - 76, Origination ID, is now null for COD Full Participants.
Field 108-115, Student's Date of Birth, will contain all zeros when no birth date is
provided.
RERFI05 has been updated to successfully import records with the changes to these
two fields.
Reconciliation File (Type #C) Records - PGRC05OP
For Full Participants, the Origination ID in positions 30-52 is no longer provided.
Previously, the Origination ID was used to determine which student the detail
record belonged to and the REBPAYV_PIDM to import to RERRECN_PIDM.
