SCT Banner Modifications
Financial Aid Suspended Records Maintenance (RCRSUSP)
From the Financial Aid Suspended Records Maintenance form (RCRSUSP), you
may access the Common Matching Entry form (GOAMTCH) and use the Common
Matching API to review the potential matches for records which have been
determined as Suspense from data load. Information about what was matched is
displayed for each Potential match.

If one of the potential matches is determined to be the same as the one
from data load, the user can select the record and return to RCRSUSP.
The correct match status and the ID for the data load record can be
updated by choosing the Select ID button RCRSUSP.
If none of the potential matches is determined to be the same as the one
from data load, the user can exit from GOAMTCH and return to
RCRSUSP. The status may then be updated to New, remain in Suspense,
or deleted from the temporary table.

regarding the Common Matching Algorithm.

Implemented Common Matching Functionality
As developed as part of General, 7.0, for Data load, Financial Aid changes include:
• Utilizing the Common Matching API in the Financial Aid Match process for
Data Load, Part 2.
• Obsoleted forms replaced as part of Common Matching enhancement in
Banner General.
• Providing updated menus to reflect Common Matching.
• Providing the infr70000.sql script to cleanup old records in the Tape Matching
Rules Table (RCRINFR) that were used for Financial Aid matching prior to the
2004 - 2005 aid year.
Note: The records for 2004 - 2005 or later will not be removed to allow you to
retain matching rules for informational and audit purposes.
