12. <strong>ISDN</strong> TERMINAL SIMULATOR<br />
In or<strong>de</strong>r to carry out tests as terminal simulator (TELEPHONE,<br />
QUALITY MEASUREMENT, and CALLS GENERATION) over Primary<br />
Access, connect the four wires coming from the line directly to the<br />
polarized RJ45 plug marked as “E1”.<br />
In case of connection at 75Ω, use the adapter supplied with the<br />
instrument.<br />
! Connection is always point-point in Primary Access.<br />

over the same access.<br />
In or<strong>de</strong>r to operate over Basic Access ‘S0’ interface, connect the<br />
‘S TO-NT’ plug of the instrument to the S-BUS coming from the NT<br />
termination.<br />
