ISDN ANALYZER D1080 USER’S MANUAL REV. 5 Cause #3 - “no route to destination” It indicates that the user cannot be reached because the network used to send the call does not support the requested destination. This message is supported only by some networks. Cause #6 - “channel unacceptable” It indicates that the last assigned channel cannot be used to send the call. Cause #7 - “call awarded and being delivered in an established channel” It indicates that the user has been informed of an incoming call and that the incoming call is about to be connected to the channel established for analog calls (i.e. X.25 virtual packet calls). Cause #16 - “normal call clearing” It indicates that the call is about to be cleared because one of the connected users requested to cancel it. In normal situations this cause is not originated by the network. Cause #17 - “user busy” It indicates that the called user was not able to accept other calls. The terminal is compatible with the call. Cause #18 - “no user responding” 202 APPENDIX B. POSSIBLE VALUES OF THE “CAUSE” FIELD
USER’S MANUAL REV. 5 ISDN ANALYZER D1080 It indicates that the user is not responding to a request for a call either with the ALERTING or CONNECT message within the set period of time (set in ETS300 102-1 by the T303 or T310 timer). Cause #19 - “no answer from user (user alerted)” It indicates that the user sent the ALERTING, but not the CONNECT message within the set period of time. ! This cause is not necessarily generated by ETS300 102-1 procedures, but can also generated by internal network timers. Cause #21 - “call rejected” It indicates that the terminal does not want to accept the call, although it could accept it, since it is neither busy nor compatible. Cause #22 - “number changed” It indicates that the called number is no longer assigned. The new called number can be included in the diagnostics field. If the network does not support this possibility, cause #1 “unallocated (unassigned) number” will be used.
