Press F1 (ESP function) to select the EuroDSS1 variants for SPAIN 1TR6: it is the protocol used in Germany ( ) Q.SIG: it is a protocol used in the signaling between PABXs ( ) X.25: it is the protocol used for X.25 connections over the D channel ( ) CHAPTER 7. USER’S MANUAL REV. 5 ISDN ANALYZER D1080 DASS2 and DPNSS: these protocols refer to the primary access DEDICATED LINE: used to make a direct connection, both for the BASIC and the PRIMARY access, with no protocol. Use the OK function ( ) to select the desired protocol. TEI: both for the BASIC (S) and BASIC (U) access, to select the managing mode of the tested TEI. The options available are: − P-MP, to select the AUTOMATIC TEI (typical of POINT- MULTIPOING connections). The TEI is dynamically assigned by the network and can have values from 64 and 126. − P-P, to select the FIXED TEI or 0 (typical of POINT-POINT connections). Press CHANGE to set a TEI value other than 0. The possible values range from 0 and 63. For X.25 connections over the D channel, the default TEI value is 10.
