NEW FEATURES OF THE 3.0 FIRMWARE VERSION:
New 3.00 firmware release
This paragraph describes the new features of the 3.00 firmware
version for the AETHRA ISDN ANALYZER D1080.
The information is given as an amendment to the 2.05 firmware
version. Otherwise refer to the 1.88 version.
New features:
3.00 release implements the following new features:
Execution of the “Monitor” function ALSO during Simulation
and Test-TE for all interfaces.
Automatic test of the access showing the status of level 1,
level 2 (if P-P or P-MP), the profiles enabled for the tested
access and the B channels available (for outgoing calls). The
test can be carried out both in auto-call and with the remote
user.
Possibility of carrying out tests also on permanent circuits
(that is without using the signalling on the D channel) both
in BRA and in PRA. It is possible to send/receive the audio
on the selected B channel and execute the BER test on 1, 2 B
channels or the whole band (2B+D in BRA, 30B, 30B+D in
PRA). It is also possible to loop the various B channels.
Possibility of executing BER tests on the physical level both
for PRA and BRA-S accesses (the level 1 test only requests a
physical loop at the opposed end of the line).
