ISDN ANALYZER D1080 USER’S MANUAL REV. 5 The Num is used to enter the number of the remote or local access (autocall). The L1 and L2 fields indicate the status of levels 1 and 2, respectively. The Tx and Rx columns shows the results of the various calls made by the instrument with different profiles. The Level 2 status shows the TEI used for the configuration of the tested access. For each call sent by the instrument, if the remote user is compatible with the profile, the Rx column indicates OK on the profile line. USER’S MANUAL REV. 5 ISDN ANALYZER D1080 15. X.25 TERMINAL SIMULATOR The instrument connects as ISDN X.25 terminal over Basic or Primary Access with the same procedure described in Chapter 11. The operator can set the following parameters: Call, the call mode: − OUTGOING: the instrument sends a call to a remote user and once connected, transmits its own packets. − INCOMING: the instrument waits for a call. As soon as a call with a compatible number is received, the instrument answers automatically and transmits its own packets. Num, the number to call CUG, default FACILITY Facilit, the FACILITY to insert in the CALL REQUEST UserData, the USER DATA field to insert in the CALL REQUEST Rxdata, the ECHO mode on received data packets. Txdata, the transmission mode of the packets, either manual or with set rate Content, the contents of the data packets to be transmitted Length, the length of data packets if set CHAPTER 15.
