19. PRINTING
During the tests, the state of the test can be sent to a serial
printer connected to the V.28 port of the instrument.
A copy of the displayed page is normally printed, except for the
results of CALLS GENERATION and PROTOCOL ANALYSIS.
In CALLS GENERATION the instrument sends the data of all the
failed cycles of calls.
In PROTOCOL ANALYSIS, all the captured messages that are
visible are sent starting from the cursor position to the end of the
saved data (see Chapter 11).
In order to print in EXPLODED format (see Chapter 11), this
display format must be selected before starting printing.
Since the instrument is configured as DCE, the printer must be
connected by means of the crossover cable.
Starts printing the displayed data
The instrument can also be connected to a PC using any type of
serial communication software. In this case data can be saved in a
file. See Chapter 6 for the settings of the serial port.
