For outgoing calls, the instruments sends the CALLED DTE ADDRESS, the CALLING DTE ADDRESS, which corresponds to the number entered in the Num field of the CONFIGURATION menu, the FACILITY field and the USER DATA field in the CALL REQUEST packet. 15.1. FACILITY The operator can decide to send the FACILITY field in the CALL REQUEST packet. The values of the field can either be default values or values set by the user. 15.1.1. User Select the Facilit field to enter the hexadecimal values of the octets in the FACILITY field. The maximum length is fourteen (14) bytes. ! The instrument does not check the entered octets and therefore the values must be carefully set. 15.1.2. “CUG” The CLOSED USER GROUP SELECTION is available as default FACILITY. CHAPTER 15.
