ISDN ANALYZER D1080 USER’S MANUAL REV. 5 Cause #27 - “destination out of order” It indicates that the destination cannot be reached because the destination interface is not properly operating. This means that a signaling message was not able to reach the remote user (due to a failure of the physical level or the transportation level, or because the remote terminal was off, etc.). Cause #28 - “invalid format (address incomplete)” It indicates that the called user cannot be reached because the called number is either in invalid format or incomplete. Cause #29 - “facility reject” It indicates that a facility requested by the user cannot be provided by the network. Cause #30 - “response to state enquiry” This cause is included in the STATE message when the STATE message was originated by the reception of a STATE ENQUIRY message. Cause #38 - “network out of order” It indicates that the network is not working and that this condition will last for a certain period of time (it would be probably useless to try to send a call). Cause #41 - “temporary failure” It indicates that the network is not working and that this condition will not last long (the user can try to send a call after a very short period of time). Cause #42 - “switching equipment congestion” It indicates that the switching equipment is congested. Cause #43 - “access information discarded” It indicates that the network is not able to supply the access information to the remote user as requested ( i.e. “user-to-user information”, “low layer compatibility”, “high layer compatibility”, or a subaddress as indicated in the diagnostics).
