B.2. “UNAVAILABLE RESOURCES” CLASS<br />

Cause #34 - “no circuit/channel available”<br />

It indicates that no channel is available to manage the call.<br />

Cause #38 - “network out of or<strong>de</strong>r”<br />

It indicates that the network is not working and that this<br />

condition will last for a certain period of time (it would be<br />

probably useless to try to send a call).<br />

Cause #41 - “temporary failure”<br />

It indicates that the network is not working and that this<br />

condition will not last long (the user can try to send a call after a<br />

very short period of time).<br />

Cause #42 - “switching equipment congestion”<br />

It indicates that the switching equipment is congested.<br />

Cause #43 - “access information discar<strong>de</strong>d”<br />

It indicates that the network is not able to supply the access<br />

information to the remote user as requested ( i.e. “user-to-user<br />

information”, “low layer compatibility”, “high layer compatibility”,<br />

or a subaddress as indicated in the diagnostics).<br />

Cause #44 - “requested circuit/channel not<br />

available”<br />
