ISDN ANALYZER D1080 USER’S MANUAL REV. 5 42 Sabit, used to set the Sa bits value of the transmitted frame in Primary Access. GainRx, used to enable (YES) or disable (NO) a signal amplifier for reception in Primary Access. ! An incorrect setting in this field can cause malfunctioning. ClockTx, used to set the transmission clock in Primary Access: − LOOPED, to transmit with the network clock − INTERNAL, to transmit with an internally generated clock. The second setting is recommended in TE TEST mode. MonChan, selection of the B channel to be extracted on V.11 and/or for audio in monitor function ReqChan, selection of the B channel required by the instrument in the outgoing calls. − ANY, the B channel is set by the network. − B1/2 ÷ 31, the instrument expressly requests the set channel to the network. In QUALITY MEASUREMENT and CALLS GENERATION the B channel requested for the outgoing calls in the same measurement cycle increases starting from the set channel. Ex: if the field is set with the B29 channel, when STARTING the CALLS GENERATION test with 5 calls per cycle, the instrument requests the B29, B30, B31, B1 and B2 channels to the network. CHAPTER 6. USER’S MANUAL REV. 5 ISDN ANALYZER D1080 CdnPlan, used to specify the type of network (that is the ISDN); the possibile options are ISDN or UNKNOWN. The selected value (ISDN or UNKNOWN) is an i.e. contained in the call SETUP. Most networks request the UNKNOWN value (that is do not request to specifiy the ISDN), while others request the ISDN value. The default value is UNKNOWN. It corresponds to the NumPlan field of the earlier firmware versions. CgnType, indicates the type of number called or connected. The options available are: − UNKNOWN; − NATIONAL, for national numbers; − INTERNATIONAL, for international numbers. UsrUsrI, to enter INFO of USER TO USER type in the SETUP and CONNECT messages. The information element for loop tests towards PABX can be entered. The Ascii field displays the ASCII character that corresponds to the entered value. The “?” symbol is displayed in case of non-printable characters. CallsRx, to set the automatic answer to incoming calls and loop the corresponding B channel. The following settings are possible: − ALL ACCEPTED, to accept all incoming calls and loop the corresponding B channels, without checking compatibility. − ONLY COMPATIBLE, to select which incoming calls to accept. The instrument rejects the calls which do not have the profile characteristics set in the Profile field of CHAPTER 6. SETTING THE INSTRUMENT 43
