SUPPLEMENTARY SERVICES Apart from the supplementary services using the Keypad method (*xx#) the instrument implements some of the new services according to the ASN.1 international standard protocol. Terminal Portability (TP): used to change the terminal socket in the same basic access during the active phase of the call. Mailicious Call Identification (MCID): used to request the identification of the disturbing caller to the network. HOLD (CH): used to suspend the existing call and retrieve it, if necessary. 3 Party Conference (3 PTY): used to put the existing call in stand-by, make a new call and switch between calls in a 3 way conference. Explicit Call Transfer (ECT): used to put the existing call in stand-by, make a new call, joint them and leave the connection without terminating it. 12.1.7.1.
