marked as ‘S TO-NT’ with a bus connected to the NT1 line
termination.
To test a user terminal (TE TEST or X.25 TE TEST) connect the
tested terminal to the ISO8877 plug marked as ‘S TO-TE’.
When simulating an ISDN terminal (TE SIMULATOR or X.25 TE
SIMULATOR) on the “U” interface, use either the 4B3T or the
2B1Q point-line connection depending on the interface code of the
tested access, as shown in Fig. 3-4.

To avoid malfunctioning, do not use the “S TO-NT”, “S
TO-TE”, “U- 4B3T”, “U- 2B1Q” or “E1” at the same time.
