B.5. “INVALID MESSAGE” CLASS (i.e.<br />

parameter is not within limits)<br />

Cause #81 - “invalid call reference value”<br />

It indicates that the a call reference in the received messages is<br />

not used in the user-network interface.<br />

Cause #82 - “i<strong>de</strong>ntified channel does not exist”<br />

It indicates that the terminal was asked to use a non-active<br />

channel.<br />

For instance, this cause is generated if the user subscribed the<br />

channels from 1 to 12 and the user terminal or the network try to<br />

use channels from 13 to 23.<br />

Cause #83 - “a suspen<strong>de</strong>d call exists, but this<br />

call i<strong>de</strong>ntity does not”<br />

It indicates that the terminal tried to resume a call with a different<br />

number from the ones assigned to the suspen<strong>de</strong>d calls.<br />

Cause #84 - “call i<strong>de</strong>ntity in use”<br />

It indicates that the request for suspension contains a number<br />

that is already used for a suspen<strong>de</strong>d call.<br />

Cause #85 -“no call suspen<strong>de</strong>d”<br />

It indicates that the request for resuming the call contains a<br />

number that does not correspond to any suspen<strong>de</strong>d call.<br />
