In case of battery replacement, make sure that the instrument is switched off and the measurement line disconnected. To access the compartment, remove the two screws located in the back. ! When replacing the batteries, follow the instructions about polarity given in the compartment. 3.1. BUTTON FUNCTIONS When a button is pressed, the instrument emits a brief acoustic signal as a confirmation for the operator. The beep can be deactivated in the SETTING UP menu of the instrument. A beep with different tone and duration indicates an error condition when pressing a NON ACTIVE button. If a button is pressed for more than one second, the automatic repetition function is activated. The function of each button is explained below. CHAPTER 3.COMPOSITION OF THE INSTRUMENT 25
