Attend all ASA and ISA national and stateconventions with the goal <strong>of</strong> obtaining aminimum <strong>of</strong> three national, state, and districttournaments for FY 03 by March 31, 2003.4. <strong>Complete</strong> construction <strong>of</strong> the Town CreekPark and Cemetery project by September30,2003.5. <strong>Complete</strong> construction <strong>of</strong> the TennisComplex by September 30,2003.6. Research and identify a s<strong>of</strong>tware program tohandle facility reservations by June 30, 2003.7. Host the ISA National Convention in <strong>Auburn</strong>by December 31, 2002.8. Develop and implement two special events atthe skate park by September 30, 2003.9. Develop an exercise area for dogs at KieselPark by September 30, 2003.10. Organize a positive behavior program forcoaches, parents, players and <strong>of</strong>ficials <strong>of</strong> youthsports with the goal <strong>of</strong> reaching CommunityPartnership Status in the Time Out for BetterSports for Kids Program by September 30,2003.11. Update the Master Plan for Kiesel Park by June30, 2003.FY 04 Goals1. Develop a plan and, if grant funding is available,begin construction on a greenway at LakeWilmore by September 30, 2004.2. <strong>Complete</strong> work on the construction <strong>of</strong> a seniorcitizen/therapeutic center and administrationbuilding by June 30, 2004.3. Attend all ASA and ISA national and stateconventions with the goal <strong>of</strong> obtaining aminimum <strong>of</strong> three national, state and districttournaments for FY 04 by March 31, 2004.4. Develop plans for the Phase 2 <strong>of</strong> the DuckSamford Park expansion by September 30,2004.5. Working with the Public Works Department,designate green areas to be retained in drainageprojects by September 30, 2004.6. Develop a new cemetery services brochure bySeptember 30, 2004.7. Submit a bid on one additional state tournamentand one Southern tournament to be held at thetennis complex by February 29, 2004.8. Develop at least two new fitness programsdesigned to meet the Surgeon General’s call toaction against obesity by September 30, 2004.9. Develop a teen oriented playground on theFrank Brown Recreation Center site bySeptember 30, 2004.10. Develop a fitness program to draw attention tothe advantages <strong>of</strong> greenways by September 30,2004.211
