It is organized as 65,536 words by 16 bitsand manufactured using SGS-THOMSON' CMOS­E4 process. The M27C1024 with its single + 5V powersupply and with an access time of 120ns, is idealfor use in 16 bit microprocessor system allowing fullspeed operation without WAIT states. In high performanceCPU's (10MHz), the M27C1024 has animportant feature which is tQ..,§eparate the outputcontrol, OutpuLEnablILJOE) from the ChipEnable control (CE). The OE control eliminates buscontention in multiple bus microprocessor systems.The M27C1024 also features a standby modewhich reduces the power dissipation without increa­Sing access time.
