Each memory cell is accessible from bothports at all times.Pin count is kept low through the use of address/datamultiplexing. This technique is beingused on advanced microprocessors and otherdevices to keep pin counts and package sizes down.The MK4511 incorporates all functions required fordual port operations, including software controlledinterrupt outputs.
