B4.10.4B4.10.5In joint names with the owner of any potentially affected property, a reputable firmof Chartered Surveyors or Engineers shall be appointed to prepare a defects surveyof each building, structure or utility which is identified in the schedule of propertiesas being at risk of damage. Such surveys shall normally be carried out to a scopeand at times to be agreed with the property owner.At least one month prior to commencement of the relevant works, a copy of eachdefect survey shall be provided to CRCL and interested parties.Defects Survey after Construction of WorksB4.10.6After the construction works have been completed and at any time up to two yearsafter the opening of the railway, the owner of any property covered by the preconstructionsurvey, may, upon providing CRCL with reasonable evidence ofdamage, request that a second defects survey be undertaken.
