Alist of all species recorded on site and those mentioned in the text but not necessarilyoccurring on site together with scientific names is given in Appendix 1. Vascular plants andCharophytes follow the nomenclature of The Botanical Society for the British Isles (BSBI)2007 database (BSBI , 2008) with all other flora and fauna following the Nameserver facility ofthe National Biodiversity Network Species Dictionary (http://www.nhm .ac.uk/nbn/). which ismanaged by the Natural History Museum.Limitations2.7 The results of the survey and assessment work undertaken by Keystone <strong>Environmental</strong> arerepresentative at the time of surveying.2.8 Keystone <strong>Environmental</strong> staff and their sub-consultants will endeavour to identify thepresence of protected species wherever possible on-site, where this falls within the agreedscope of works.2.9 Up to date standard methodologies will be used, which are accepted by Natural England andother statutory conservation bodies. No responsibility will be accepted where thesemethodologies fail to identify all species on-site. Keystone <strong>Environmental</strong> cannot takeresponsibility where Government, national bodies or industry subsequently modify standards.2.10 Keystone <strong>Environmental</strong> cannot accept responsibility for data collected from third parties.2.11 The HSI assessment has been designed for ponds and not for ditches with flowing water, soany results of HSI assessments of ditches should be viewed with some caution .Keystone <strong>Environmental</strong> 5
