She also sided with France when the Jesuits’ Napoleon IIIsent his troops to invade Mexico during the American “Civil War,” as well as duringWorld War I and World War II — the Second Thirty Years’ War.It is for this reason that England, France and the Pope never gave any true aidto the Protestant government of the Southern Confederacy during the AmericanCivil War, properly called “the War Between the States” or “the War for SouthernIndependence.” England threatened war with the North if Lincoln (having onlyforty-four percent of the popular vote) would not radically emancipate the southernslaves. As calculated, the Emancipation Proclamation destroyed the Southernculture that generally had been a blessing to the Negroes, in contrast to theirbarbarism and cannibalism in Africa. France sent troops into Mexico pretending tounite with the Confederacy, but withdrew giving only the appearance that it favoredthe South.(Pope Pius IX, towards the end of the war, sent a letter to Jefferson Davis callinghim the “President of the United States.” This too was a ruse of war, as Pius IX couldhave prevented the immigration and enlistment of thousands of Irish Roman Catholicsin the Northern Army, thereby sparing Protestant Georgia of General Sherman’sraping and thieving “bummers” during his Crusader’s march from Atlanta toSavannah. Clearly, “the Holy Alliance” with its Jesuits, favored the North and itsRadical Red Republican party, the new Federalists.)It is for this reason that the Crown of England – the supposed protector of theanti-Pope, Anglican Church – never resisted the Jesuits’ Oxford Movement from1833 to 1845. This Tractarian Movement led by the rank Jesuits E. B. Pusey andJohn Newman – the John Newman who defected to Rome and was made a Cardinalby the Jesuits’ Pius IX – was never publicly condemned by any English Monarchincluding Queen Victoria.
