Syntax for Flexible Management Templates<br />

You can use the syntax described in the following sections as a basis for<br />

configuring flexible management features (for example, the switching of<br />

responsibility between managers) in the template files provided.<br />

templates, see the man pages opcmom(4) and opcmomchk(1m), as well as<br />

the README file in the template directory:<br />

Special Characters in Flexible Management Templates<br />

The syntax examples below use the following special characters:<br />

e Empty string. If you want to include an empty string in<br />

a template, simple enter e.<br />

Example: e<br />

# Comment. If you want to include a comment in a<br />

template, include a pound sign (#) before every line of<br />

the comment. Every character in the line is treated as<br />

part of the comment by OVO.<br />

Example: # This is a comment<br />

\ Escape character. If you want to use quotation marks<br />

in a syntax string, escape the quotation marks with a<br />

backslash (\).<br />

Example: \"quotation\"<br />
