Displaying Versions of Available Agent Packages<br />

To display a summary of all OVO agent packages including the<br />

supported operating system versions that are currently available on the<br />

management server, run the following script on the management server:<br />

/opt/OV/bin/OpC/agtinstall/opcversion -a<br />

The latest possible OVO agent version supporting the operating system<br />

version of the managed node is probably installed on that node. See<br />

“Displaying Versions of Installed Agent Packages” on page 67 for<br />

information about how to query the version of the installed agent<br />

software.<br />

The related OVO software for each supported architecture is available in:<br />

/var/opt/OV/share/databases/OpC/mgd_node/vendor/\<br />

//<br />

Where:<br />

One of the selectors for your platform.<br />

For more information, see the OVO<br />

DCE Agent Concepts and<br />

Configuration Guide.<br />

Version of OVO that supports this<br />

agent platform (for example,<br />

A.08.10).<br />

Type of RPC communication used by<br />

that platform (that is, DCE, NCS, or<br />

Sun).<br />

Displaying Versions of Installed Agent Packages<br />

To display the version number of the OVO agent software that is<br />

currently installed on a managed node, run the following command on<br />

the management server:<br />

/opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcragt -agent_version ...<br />

See the man page opcragt(1M) for more information about possible<br />

restrictions of this command.<br />
