Variables for Logfile Templates Only
You can use the following variables for most text entry fields in logfile
templates. You can use the variables within OVO, or pass them to
external programs.
Templates for Windows Event. Returns one or more of
the possible parameters that are part of a Windows
event (for example, returns the first parameter,
returns the second parameter, and so on.)
Templates for Windows Event. Returns the event ID of
the Windows event. simplifies the
processing of multi-line EventLog messages. You need
the Source field and of the event to
identify the event uniquely.
Sample output:
0x0000600F
Returns the name of the monitored logfile.
Sample output:
sulog
Returns the full path to the monitored logfile including
the file name.
Sample output:
/var/adm/sulog
