Logging into MPE/iX managed nodes can slow down your system because of the way in which seeks are implemented in large MPE/iX files. Also, check the size of the file OPCMSGLG.LOG.OVOPC regularly. After you perform a backup, purge the file. To limit the size of this file, you can also change the value for Max. Size in the Node Communication Options window. Chapter 13
