Setting the Character Set on the Management Server
You set the database character set during the OVO installation. The
database character set determines the internal processing character set
of the management server. The database and the OVO management
server must have the same internal character set to process data
correctly and to minimize character set conversions during runtime. All
data on the management server must be input using this character set.
OVO supports the Oracle database character sets listed in Table 8-1 on
page 288:
