To Integrate “IP Activity Monitoring - Tables” as an<br />

OV Service<br />

To integrate “IP Activity Monitoring - Tables” as an OV Service, follow<br />

these steps:<br />

1. As an OVO administrator, from the menu bar of the root IP Map,<br />

select Window:Application Bank....<br />

The OVO Application Bank window opens.<br />

2. As an OVO administrator, from the menu bar select<br />

Actions:Applications->Add OV Service....<br />

The Add OV Service window opens.<br />

3. In the Add OV Service window, enter the following application<br />

attributes:<br />

Application Name: IP Monitoring - Tables<br />

OV Registration Application Name: IP Tables<br />

4. Click [OK].<br />

5. Invoke the OV Service as administrator and as operator:<br />

a. Administrator<br />

To use the OV Service, log out and log back in. Click a node and<br />

select one of the menu items in the IP Map under<br />

Performance:Network Activity or Configuration:Network<br />

Configuration.<br />

To enable the operator to monitor the IP tables, copy the OV<br />

Service into an operator Application Desktop. Then restart the<br />

operator’s sessionb.<br />

Configuration.<br />
