Assigning Java GUI Operator Defaults<br />

As an OVO administrator, you can define default startup behavior for<br />

operator areas in Java GUI with two application groups:<br />

❏ Shortcuts<br />

You can create new application groups that are added individually at<br />

the end of the Java GUI shortcut bar.These application groups can<br />

contain any kind of application.<br />

❏ Workspaces<br />

You can create new application groups that are added individually<br />

after existing default workspaces in the Java GUI workspace<br />

pane.These application groups can contain any kind of application.<br />

NOTE You can assign a set of shortcuts or workspaces to an individual operator,<br />

a group of operators, or all operators.<br />

administrator, refer to the OVO Java GUI Operator’s Guide.<br />

To Assign Operator Defaults<br />

To assign operator defaults, you have to be familiar with the following<br />

procedures:<br />

❏ To Create a New Application Group<br />

❏ To Add Applications to Application Groups<br />

❏ To Assign Applications and Application Groups to an Operator<br />
