If OVO GUI Processes are Still Running after OVO
GUI Shutdown
Improper shutdown of the OVO GUI leaves some GUI processes still
running
Problem
After the OVO GUI has aborted while users were still logged on, you log
into OVO and receive the following error message:
The user is already logged on. (50-17)
This error message indicates that some GUI processes may still be
running.
Solution
Check for the following processes, and kill them:
opcuiadm
opcuiop
opcuiopadm
ovw
If these processes are not running, but you still receive the error
message, delete the entry for logged-on operators from the OVO
database:
su - oracle
sqlplus /nolog
connect /as sysdba;
select * from opc_op.opc_op_runtime;
delete from opc_op.opc_op_runtime where name = ‘’;
To delete the entry for a specific user who is currently logged in, enter:
delete from opc_op.opc_op_runtime;
To delete the entry for all users who are currently logged in, enter:
commit;
exit
exit
