About Management Server Processes<br />

Types of Process Files on the Management Server<br />

The files used for OVO management server processes are contained in<br />

the following directory:<br />

/var/opt/OV/share/tmp/OpC/mgmt_sv<br />

This section describes those pipes and queue files.<br />

actreqp/actreqq Queue/pipe used by the display manager,<br />

message manager, TTNS manager, (and<br />

action manager) to pass action requests to the<br />

action manager.<br />

actrespp/actrespq Queue/pipe used by the message receiver,<br />

request sender, and action manager to pass<br />

action responses to the action manager.<br />

ctrlq/ctrlp Queue/pipe between the display manager and<br />

control manager.<br />

cfgchanges File that informs the OVO management server<br />

processes about configuration changes (for<br />

example, regroup conditions, nodes, trouble<br />

tickets, notification services).<br />

dispq<br />

dispp Queue/pipe between the display manager and<br />

GUI (opcuiop/opcuiadm). There is one instance<br />

of this queue/pipe for each OVO GUI that is<br />

running.<br />

forwmgrp/forwmgrq Queue/pipe used by the message manager,<br />

display manager, action manager, and the<br />

forward manager to pass data to be forwarded<br />

to other management servers.<br />

magmgrp/magmgrq Queue/pipe between the message dispatcher<br />

and the request handler.<br />

mpicdmp/mpicdmq Queue/pipe used by the display manager and<br />

the message stream interfaces to transfer control<br />

sequences for message-change event handling.<br />

mpicmmp/mpicmmq Queue/pipe used by the message manager and<br />

message stream interfaces to transfer control<br />

sequences for message handling through the<br />

MSI.<br />
