c. In the template, change the server names bigunix (OVO for<br />

UNIX server) and bignt (OVO for Windows server) to the server<br />

names used in your environment.<br />

d. To ensure that your changes are correct, run the OVO for UNIX<br />

template validation tool opcmomchk(1) on the finished<br />

configuration file:<br />

/opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcmomchk <br />

For more information about opcmomchk, see the man page<br />

opcmomchk(1).<br />

e. Copy the file you created to the following directory on the OVO<br />

for UNIX server:<br />

/etc/opt/OV/share/conf/OpC/mgmt_sv/respmgrs<br />

3. Run the tool Switch management server for Windows nodes,<br />

located in the OVO for Windows management server console under<br />

Tools/<strong>OpenView</strong> Tools.<br />

IMPORTANT Be aware that the status of the tool will stay on “starting” if the<br />

switch was successful.<br />

When prompted by the script, enter the name of the OVO for UNIX<br />

management server.<br />

4. Use the OVO for UNIX GUI to distribute the created<br />

flexible-management template to the Windows node of the OVO for<br />

Windows server, or use the command line:<br />

opcragt -distrib -templates -force \<br />

5. Run the tool Switch management server for Windows nodes<br />

again on the OVO for Windows management server.<br />

When prompted by the script, enter the name of the OVO for<br />

Windows management server.<br />
