About the OVO Java-based Operator GUI<br />

Secure HTTPS-based Java GUI Communication<br />

Figure 9-2 shows the client-server communication. Depending on the<br />

chosen communication type, the following applies:<br />

❏ HTTPS-based communication<br />

If you are using the HTTPS-based Java GUI communication, a closed<br />

padlock icon appears on the login window and on the status bar.<br />

❏ Standard communication<br />

If you are using the standard HTTPS Java GUI communication, an<br />

open padlock icon appears in the GUI.<br />
