About the OVO Java-based Operator GUI<br />

Accessing Jovw<br />

If you want to access an IP map other than the default IP Map, modify<br />

the Jovw applications in the OVO administrator GUI.<br />

To modify the Jovw applications in the OVO administrator GUI, follow<br />

these steps:<br />

1. Copy the applications Highlight in Ip-Map and Jovw in the<br />

application group Jovw,<br />

2. Modify the applications to use an IP map other than the default map:<br />

Copy the application Highlight in Ip-Map:<br />

a. Right-click the application Highlight in Ip-Map and select<br />

Copy... from the popup-menu.<br />

b. Modify the name and label to suit your needs.<br />

c. In the Application Call field, replace the string default<br />

with the name of the IP map you want to use.<br />

d. Click [OK] to save the copied application under the new<br />

name.<br />

Copy the application Jovw:<br />

a. Select the application Jovw and select Copy... from the<br />

right-click popup-menu.<br />

b. Modify the name and label to suit your requirements.<br />

c. In the Application Call field, add the following string to<br />

the call:<br />

?MapName=<br />

In this string, is the name of the IP map you want<br />

to access.<br />

For example, the application call could look like this:<br />

http://$OPC_MGMTSV:3443/OvCgi/jovw.exe?MapName=new_map<br />

d. Click [OK] to save the copied application under the new<br />

name.<br />
