S 2.52 Supply and monitoring of consumable fax
accessories

Implementation responsibility: Fax Officer
Users should be instructed to notify the person in-charge of fax machines
when fax consumables (e.g. paper, toner) have to be refilled. The person-incharge
should personally carry out such checks at regular intervals (according
to requirement, but at least once a month). The person-in-charge should also
ensure an adequate supply of fax consumables.
Additional controls:
- Has responsibility for the supply of fax consumables been delegated?
- Are consumables frequently present in insufficient amounts?
