AREAS TO BE EVALUATED DURING<br />

ARRIVAL ASSISTS<br />

1. As a minimum, the following areas should be evaluated. Duplicate inspection of areas covered by other<br />

inspections need not be made.<br />

1.1 Training program which should include instructions in the following:<br />

a. Industrial activity organization, including management and working levels.<br />

b. Industrial activity procedures and practices, including:<br />

(1) OCT.<br />

(2) Tag-Out.<br />

(3) Ripout.<br />

(4) Industrial Activity Deficiency Correction.<br />

(5) General Testing Requirements. Personnel should be familiar with references (ae) and (af).<br />

(6) The industrial activity system for accomplishing planned maintenance on equipment under<br />

their cognizance.<br />

c. General schedule of Key Events and phases of work and testing.<br />

d. Safety requirements including Ship's Force and industrial activity responsibilities for:<br />

(1) Dry Dock Safety.<br />

(2) Fire Watches.<br />

(3) Watertight Integrity.<br />

(4) Reactor Plant Safety.<br />

1.2 Status of administrative preparations, including:<br />

a. Ship and department organization manuals and directives to ensure administration is in accordance with<br />

current requirements.<br />
