• Review AWPs and provide comments to<br />

TYCOM, ISIC and SUBMEPP<br />

• Assign a Ship's Selected Records Coordinator<br />

• Publish policies concerning the ship status<br />

and crew before availability starts<br />

(Submarines Only)<br />

• Review status of PMR maintenance schedules<br />

and CSMP reports with ISIC prior to CNO<br />

availability<br />

• Maintain a current SUBMEPP PMR<br />

inventory<br />

• Verify satisfactory completion of all Sea Trial<br />

evolutions<br />

• Carry out responsibilities per reference (e)<br />

• Develop and execute training plans and<br />

documents<br />

• Supervise operation of nuclear propulsion<br />

plant<br />

• Prepare ship's engineering personnel; and<br />

propulsion plant spaces for inspection<br />

• Maintain PMS, SUBSAFE re-entry control,<br />

RPPMS, in accordance with applicable<br />

references<br />

• Participate in at-sea periods prior to the first<br />

Sea Trials<br />

• Review Sea Trial agenda and concur<br />

• Undergo salvage inspection<br />

• Conduct one day Ship's Force dock trials<br />

• Demonstrate state of training of the crew<br />

• Ensure all alongside tests, inspections, and<br />

trials are conducted<br />

• Certify to designated ISIC/TYCOM<br />

representative that all salvage inspections<br />

discrepancies have been corrected<br />

• Concur with Supervising Authority message<br />

• Report by message to TYCOM that ship and<br />

crew are ready for Sea Trials<br />

• When authorized conduct a Fast Cruise<br />

• Concur with Supervising Authority message<br />

• Report completion of Fast Cruise to TYCOM<br />

• When requirements of this instruction are<br />

complete and permission is received proceed<br />

to sea
