(3) Diesel engine cooling jackets.<br />

(4) Garbage disposals.<br />

(5) Gaylord hood automatic washdown system (vacuum breaker<br />

installed upstream from detergent injector) (GEN SPECS,<br />

Section 532b3) if applicable.<br />

(6) Steam tables, steam kettles, potato peelers, sinks and other food<br />

service equipment.<br />

(7) Bridge/helicopter control tower window washer tanks.<br />

(8) Other equipment containing non-potable liquids.<br />

b. Continuous pressure backflow preventer with intermediate vent<br />

provided wherever a permanent or hose connection is made below<br />

the overflow level of equipment containing non-potable liquids and a<br />

manual or automatic cutout valve is installed downstream of the<br />

vacuum breaker (GEN SPECS, Section 532bl) if applicable.<br />

c. Reduced pressure backflow preventer provided wherever a<br />

permanent or hose connection is made to equipment or a system that<br />

could subject the potable water system to a positive pressure such as<br />

the chill water expansion tank (GEN SPECS, Section 532bl) if<br />

applicable.<br />

d. Sink and space faucets with standard 3/4 inch hose threads equipped<br />

with a hose connection vacuum breaker (NSTM 533, Section<br />

2.3.5.1).<br />
