CONSEILS D’EXPERT // EXPERT ADVICE
LE MINI-LIFTING EST
DE PLUS EN PLUS PRATIQUÉ
À PARTIR DE 40-45 ANS.
MINI-LIFTS ARE BECOMING
MORE AND MORE POPULAR
AFTER AGE 40-45.
A face lift is still the gold standard when it comes to correcting
facial aging, especially sagging in the oval and neck.
Many new techniques and products feature the word “lift” in
their name, to evoke the efficacy and trustworthiness of the
described product or technique.
The most recently-introduced procedure that echoes the results
of a lift are tensor threads for the face and neck.
Having worked as a plastic surgeon for many years, I pay
great attention to any new products or procedures that are
developed, as well as to how our patients’ demands are evolving.
However, before I am prepared to perform any new medical
or surgical procedures on my patients, I must first be sure of:
• Their effectiveness: It is my duty to offer patients proven
results that match their expectations.
• Their reproducibility: The procedure must be suitable for
as many people as possible, without any variation or “lottery”
regarding the quality of the results.
• Their safety: The technique or product used must not put the
health of my patients in jeopardy, and even less so their physical
appearance. Any unforeseen events or possible complications,
which may still occur, must have an effective solution.
