Il identifie ensuite 5 types :
• Dramatique - 100% Yang
• Romantique - 100% Yin
• Classique - un mélange harmonieux de Yin et de Yang
• Naturel - une alliance mutuellement bénéfique avec des
caractéristiques distinctives du Yin et du Yang
• Elégant - un contraste marqué de Yin et de Yang
Chaque type identifié possède les caractéristiques suivantes :
• 1. Caractéristiques faciales (grandes ou petites, nettes ou
rondes, symétriques);
• 2. Taille des membres (paumes, pieds);
• 3. Proportions du corps (taille, poitrine, hanches, longueur
des jambes);
• 4. Croissance;
• 5. Structure des cheveux.
Après avoir pris en compte les différents types, il s’agit ensuite de
déterminer les corrections à apporter.
Si l’on se base sur le concept du Yang et du Yin, dur versus doux,
ombre versus lumière, stimulation ou reconstitution des volumes -
le choix des zones et des méthodes de correction seront différents.
L’idée majeure de «Game of Volumes» est de démontrer qu’il
devient possible d’apporter une correction esthétique avec des
volumes en mouvement et une lumière qui va les mettre en valeur.
Mon astuce : Pour montrer au patient le résultat final, nous
pouvons utiliser du maquillage d’un côté du visage et travailler
l’autre côté.
Dramatique : Les traits faciaux droits et étroits (petits yeux,
lèvres minces, nez et menton pointus, pommettes hautes et joues
creuses) sont prononcés. Attention toutefois à la féminisation due
à la correction des lèvres et à la reconstitution du volume de la
partie médiale de la joue (Figure 1).
Romantique : Grands yeux, lèvres pleines, nez et menton doux
et légèrement pleins, joues arrondies. En correction, il est nécessaire
de soutenir les ligaments de la partie médium de la joue, de
faire attention aux sillons naso-géniens et à la partie inférieure du
visage (Figure 2).
Le livre du D.Kibby «Métamorphoses», rapidement devenu
une référence majeure, nous permet de trouver la procédure
appropriée en utilisant le concept unique du Yin et du Yang.
En médecine esthétique, ce concept permet de dispenser une
approche holistique complète et personnalisée de la correction
des volumes.

The signs by which the appearance is related to a particular
type are as follows:
• 1. Facial features (large or small, sharp or round,
symmetrical);
• 2. Size of limbs (palms, feet);
• 3. The proportions of the body (the severity of the waist,
chest, hips, leg length);
• 4. Growth;
• 5. Hair structure.
Having examined the types, it is necessary to determine the
correction approach.
Based on the concept of Yang and Yin, hard and soft, light and
shadow, stimulation or replenishment of volumes - the choice
of zones and correction methods will differ.
The main idea of the “Game of Volumes” is to show the
possibility of aesthetic correction with changing volumes and
light reflection, how it would change our image perception.
To show our patient the final result we can use make- up
on one side of the face and work on the other side. After
comparing the results, clean the skin and continue.
There are two polar types: Dramatic (Yin) and Romantic
(Yang) and their probable correction.
Dramatic Straight and narrow facial features (small eyes, thin
lips, sharp nose and chin, high cheekbones and hollow cheeks)
are pronounced. In the approach, it is necessary to pay attention
to feminisation due to correction of the lips and replenishment
of the volume of the medial part of the cheek (Figure 1).
Romantic Full features (large eyes, full lips, soft and slightly
full nose and chin, rounded cheeks). In correction, it is
necessary to provide support for the ligaments in the medial
part of the cheek and periform fossa, to pay attention to the
tear trough and lower part of the face (Figure 2).
D.Kibby’s book “Metamorphoses”, which quickly became a
style guide, allows you to find appropriate image using the
unique concept of Yin and Yang. In aesthetic medicine, this
concept provides an understanding of a complete holistic and
personalised approach to correction.
