eyebrows. I use the 3 mm transducer to densify the lower eyelid
and the 1.5 mm one to lift the tail of the eyebrow, concentrating
on the Charpy fat pads. Before any treatment, I ask my patients
if they have previously had any injections, as microfocused ultrasounds
destroy hyaluronic acid.
Like all stimulation techniques, Ultherapy ® does not reap identical
results in all patients, even if they are the same age with
the same indication. The first effects are visible six weeks after
treatment, and gradually improve over the next three months.
My patients notice that the results last between fifteen and
eighteen months, on average, sometimes more.
Cou et décolleté, le triangle d’or
Sur un cou fripé et ridulé, mais pas trop musclé, où les cordes
platysmales ne sont pas trop saillantes, on obtient d’excellents
résultats durables (au moins dix-huit mois) en utilisant le
transducteur 1.5 mm. Je pars de la zone sous-mentonnière
pour terminer jusqu’au dessus de la clavicule. Pour le décolleté,
après avoir fait du photo-rajeunissement pour enlever
les taches pigmentaires, je fais trois passages avec les trois
transducteurs pour traiter à la fois les rides profondes entre la
poitrine et les ridules plus superficielles. Les résultats sont très
satisfaisants et là aussi ce traitement a une patientèle acquise.
Neck and décolletage, the golden triangle
On a crumpled, wrinkled neck – though one that is not too muscular
and whose platysma cords are not too prominent – we can
achieve excellent, long-lasting results (at least eighteen months)
by using the 1.5 mm transducer. I start underneath the
chin and finish up just above the collarbone. For the décolletage,
after performing photo rejuvenation to erase any pigmentation
marks, I go over the area with all three transducers to treat both
the deep wrinkles between the chest and the more superficial
lines. The results are very good and thus this treatment has
consistently garnered a loyal patient following.
I have noticed that Ultherapy ® has earned a very loyal client
base, since one in three of my patients have the treatment
done again after two years, on average, which shows they are
satisfied with the results. Having performed more than five
hundred treatments now, I have never seen any burns, as the
integrated ultrasound scanner makes the treatment more accurate
and safer.
Je constate que l’Ultherapy ® fidélise, puisque un patient
sur trois redemande un traitement au bout de deux ans en
moyenne, ce qui montre leur satisfaction vis-à-vis de cette
technologie. Avec un recul sur plus de cinq cents traitements,
je n’ai jamais eu une seule brûlure car l’échographe permet de
faire un traitement plus précis et plus sûr.
