The study course is envisaged for the students of the professional master programme Professional
Musical Subjects Teacher and aims at improving their knowledge about the development trends of
accordion and interpretation peculiarities of performance of different styles in accordion playing in
historical context. The objectives of the study course reveal the improvement of technical possibilities
in interpretation of accordion music of various trends and styles, present information on interpretations
of compositions by outstanding composers for accordion and bayan.
