The course is envisaged for the students of professional study programme Professional Education Teacher
of Music. The aim of the course: to prepare specialists who could teach piano playing in children’s music
schools, music secondary schools, cultural and educational institutions, as well as general piano playing in
high school music faculties.
The tasks of the course: 1) to provide the future piano teachers with necessary knowledge, skills and
abilities in the field of methodology of teaching piano playing;
2) to form an integrated system of viewpoints on the process of teaching piano playing;
3) to help the future piano teachers to solve problems during pedagogical activity, as well as to help to
generalize and systematize their pedagogical experience.
