The study course is envisaged for the students of the professional master programme Professional
Musical Subjects Teacher, its aim is in an integrated way to provide the knowledge on development
history and style interpretations in percussion instruments playing. The objectives of the course: to
reveal regularities in the development of means of expression and technical possibilities in percussion
instruments playing; to acquaint students with the pedagogical principles of well-known performers and
national schools; to develop students’ skills of interpretation of percussion instruments playing of
different periods and styles.
