GOLD SAMPLES FROM ATSKURI BURIAL
Atskuri burial is located in Akhaltsikhe District, on the left bank of the
Mtkvari River. The anatomical analysis of the human bones indicates that
63 individuals were buried in the grave. Some of the deceased were buried
with gold. The analyses of gold found in the grave reveals a local production
of items.
